ANTROPOMORPHIAs 'Evangelivm Nekromantia' soll in Deutschland indiziert werden!
Die holländischen Death Metaller ANTROPOMORPHIA haben auf ein Schreiben reagiert, dass ihr Label Metal Blade Records von der BPJM bekommen hat, das einen Indizierungsantrag für das aktuelle Album der Band Evangelivm Nekromantia enthielt. Das Schreiben beanstandet das Coverartwork und den Song Fleisch. Beide sollen in drastischer Weise Gewalttaten und Tötungen thematisieren, die aus der Sicht der BPJM als selbstzweckhaft und grausam eingeordnet werden können. Darüber hinaus scheint die BPJM auch mit dem Plattentitel nicht wirklich glücklich zu sein. Die Band gibt zu Protokoll: "We've made certain people nervous and uncomfortable with our music and lyrical content. In order to 'protect' the children, it's quite possible 'Evangelivm Nekromantia' will be banned and removed from German stores. Through their ridiculous and hypocrite way of thinking they are not letting people use their own intelligence or freedom of choice, this in an era where you turn on the news and see the world's vile and repulsive excrements in full HD. These people are nothing more than a bunch of pitiful sheep! They might think this ban will be castigation but it will only strengthen us in our opposition towards these sad shallow people that crowd the world with their insignificant lives. To us, it's the perfect representation of people without perception other than a retarded opinion about an artistic expression."

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, die neueste Ausgabe der Videospielreihe, erschien letzte Woche in Nordamerika. Am Sonntag, dem 17. Februar, performte John Bush zusammen mit ein paar anderen Musikern Songs aus dem Soundtrack auf der offiziellen Premierenparty in LAs Universal CityWalk. Raging Death wurde in verschiedenen Studios aufgenommen. Die Drums entstanden in den Racetrack Studios, während die Basisaufnahmen in Jimmys eigenen The Crypt Recording Studios eingespielt wurden. Mix uns Mastering erledigte Dan Swanö im Unisound.

ENTRAILS formierten sich erstmals in den 90ern, lösten sich aber auf, bevor sie ein Demo oder Album veröffentlichen konnten. Es dauerte bis ins Jahr 2008, ehe sie zurückkehren sollten. Gitarrist Jimmy Lundqvist entdeckte ein paar alte Tapes, weswegen er in einem Anflug von Nostalgie entschied, diese Songs zu veröffentlichen. Dank moderner Aufnahmetechnik nahm das erste ENTRAILS Demo nun konkrete Formen an. Nach seiner Veröffentlichung 2009 spielten ENTRAILS direkt ihr Debüt Tales From The Morgue ein und veröffentlichten es. Nur ein Jahr später 2010 folgte schon The Tomb Awaits, das weltweit bei den Fans extremer Musik für Aufsehen sorgte und von nicht wenigen für das beste Death Metal-Album des Jahres gehalten wurde. ENTRAILS haben seitdem eine Vielzahl Gigs auf namhaften Festivals gespielt inkl. dem Party.San Open Air, dem Summer Breeze Open Air und dem Hell Inside Festival.
