CODE OF SILENCE Offer Free Track Download "Tame The Tempest"

UK-based melodic metallers CODE OF SILENCE are offering a free download of the track ‘Tame The Tempest‘. The song is taken from the band’s debut album ‘Dark Skies Over Babylon’ which has already received glowing reviews. This track is now available as a free download for signing up to the band’s Reverbnation mailing list. Just go to: http://www.reverbnation.com/play_now/16625691

The track started out as a piece written by guitarist Ben Randall and ended up a collaboration with Paul Logue (Eden’s Curse) and Pete Newdeck (Eden’s Curse, Tainted Nation).

Get Ready to ROCK! reviewer Alan Jones wrote about the track: “an opportunity for Randall to thrust himself forward as the new guitar hero for the next generation. Plenty of raw meat for guitar wannabes to get their teeth into and an absolute shoo-in for Riff Of The Year.”

The first single ‘Sky Is Falling Down’ (also available at Reverbnation) is a four-minute burst of pop metal – catchy, re-playable, and engaging – the promo video is available at the band’s website www.codeofsilence.co.uk and has gathered an amazing 200,000-plus views since February: www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSPtR8ote-I

The brainchild of respected U.K. melodic rock producer/ musician / songwriter Paul Logue (Eden’s Curse) and James Murray (bass), Code Of Silence is completed by John Clelland (drums), Scott McLean (keys), guitarist Ben Randall and vocalist Gus Monsanto (Revolution Renaissance, Adagio).

The album ‘Dark Skies Over Babylon’ is released by Mausoleum Records in Europe (February 25) and North America (April 9) in Japan by Rubicon Music.

The band will be sharpening their spurs in late-September playing selected UK dates including the inaugural Skyfest on September 21., 2013.
