INFO / BIO:
As far as Avital Tamir is concerned, his band's third album is more than just another release.  To the vocalist of Israeli metal act, Betzefer, The Devil Went Down To The Holy Land is the most mature and consistent recording of his musical career to date. "For the first time, these are real songs," he says. "You could easily play them on just a guitar." Tamir and his fellow band members Matan Cohen (guitar), Rotem Inbar (bass) and Roey Bermann (drums) finalised The Devil Went Down To The Holy Land in record time: "It didn't even take us one year from the initial idea to the final product, each number required one or two sessions at most. This is a confident, grown-up and thoroughly accomplished album which we're very proud of."

The band recorded the new album with long-time friend and producer Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Sick Of It All, Mnemic)

So there's definitely a storm brewing, because with a brilliant new album and a line-up which has remained unchanged for the past ten years, the number of Betzefer fans should increase even further in autumn 2013.
