KÄRTSY teams up with Pledgemusic
KÄRTSY, singer of famous finnish band WALTARI goes solo.
His second album is called "AWAY" and is something totally new.
He has teamed up with Pledgemusic to finance his new release.
Here is what Kärtsy has to say about that step:
“THIS KIND OF KÄRTSY YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD BEFORE!
This well-known crazy red haired metal- crossover monster from Finland, what can you expect…loud crazy guitars, unorthodoxical odd rhythm world, screaming and freaky vocalism, strange melodies, noisy distorted electronic sounds…well yes that´s for sure Waltari, my band for over 25 years!
But this, my solo music, has nothing to do with it! Nothing to do with his so called ""normal me""! Be sure, when I, Kärtsy, go solo, it definitely will be nothing to do with my composing and sound in Waltari, that´s my basic idea with his new album ""AWAY""! I sure love this hybrid metal in all possible forms and will always love for sure, but there is this other side too!
You might not necessary recognize that from my general music, but some of the most beloved fans sure have realized: I have a sense for remarkably strong vocal melodies, especially in the song choruses. I am 50 percent metal, and 50 percent something else. And ""AWAY"" is my something else! This time I don´t want to experiment, and believes this is my biggest experiment just because of that!
Some of my fans might hate ""AWAY"", but then again with this music, which is suitable for anybody, I can attain much more new people, who haven´t heard about me. I enjoy a lot just singing, and here I´m singing to everybody! This is very personal. Now KÄRTSY is AWAY from himself..for getting closer to YOU!
So please help Kärtsy to reach his goal to get "AWAY" out to you.
