MANILLA ROAD
The legendary Epic Metal band MANILLA ROAD is currently working on their new album that will be released this year. Title and concept are still secret. After the success of the 2013 album "Mysterium" and many shows (Sweden Rock, Metal Assault, Hellfest) all over the world, the first of many European re-issues to come was released: The 30th Anniversary Edition of CRYSTAL LOGIC as a double CD (Golden Core/ZYX). Beside a remastered version of the album the fans can find several bonus tracks from reels and cassettes that were found last year. Alternative versions, rough mix versions and live versions are already a holy grail for every Manilla Road fan, but this edition also contains an unreleased track and a way better sounding version of "Time Trap" from the "Dreams of Eschaton" album, recorded between "Metal" and "Crystal Logic" and later released as CD on Monster Records as "Mark of the Beast".
The first two albums "Invasion" and "Metal" will be released next as a double CD through Golden Core/ZYX. CD 1 contains both albums in a remastered version, CD 2 is filled up with bonus tracks again. The 1985 album "Open The Gates" will follow after that. And so on…
Manilla Road will play "Metal Days Festival" in Slowenia this year, many other dates will be confirmed very soon.

"LOST GAMA RECORD" TO BE RELEASED IN 2014: SUDDEN DARKNESS ON STORMSPELL RECORDS
Since the collectors scene knows about the 12 testpressings of the otherwise unreleased GAMA Records LP "Fear of Reality" from the German band SUDDEN DARKNESS, people offered up to 1000 Euros and more to own that piece of Thrash- and Speed Metal. Recorded in 1988 at Zuckerfabrik Studio Stuttgart/Germany (Exumer, Tokyo Blade, SDI) this LP is not only a collector´s item but contains a form and sound of metal that can´t be reproduced today. On a way better technical level than labelmates like Vectom or Necronomicon, the LP offers also a great sound quality thanks to the transfer from an unplayed vinyl, handled by Dirk Hoffmann Studio. Now this unreleased LP plus tons of bonus songs from earlier demotapes (Studio) will see the light of the day in 2014 through Stormspell Records (USA). SUDDEN DARKNESS changed name into ECONOMIST in 1991 and have recorded two CDs. The first "New Built Ghetto Status" was first released on their own label "Soundbunker Records" (500 copies) and was later licensed by Massacre Records. The secon CD "Mind Movies" from 1995 remained unreleased as the band split up. CD 2 of this double CD-package will contain a best of from both ECONOMIST CDs plus several bonus songs.
A vinyl version of the SUDDEN DARKNESS LP will be released by High Roller Records.
