Pitchfork streaming new song from VINTERBRIS
Listen to "Gazing At A Fallen Sky", the second track to surface from Vinterbris' sophomore album Solace, now on Pitchfork.
Hailing from Bergen, Norway, the sound of Vinterbris features the fast tempos of black metal while searching for the bigger musical landscape often found in bands like Moonsorrow and Primordial. Along with the stream, you can also read a comment by Pitchfork's writer Kim Kelly: "The uptempo 'Gazing At A Fallen Sky' boasts a folksy bounce beneath its black wings, tossing in a Viking chorus and rippling solos for good measure."
The album is scheduled for a June 16th release via Nordavind Records.

QUOTES:
"From the west coast of Norway comes the storms, the rains and recently, an outstanding young constellation called Vinterbris. A mixture of dark well-executed metal, at times almost meditative, which will ensure those Nordic chills down your spine. In addition to serving Nordic metal's future a more multidimensional approach to their art, Vinterbris are keeping the music on the track of excitement. Make sure to catch this act if you're given the chance - they are a blinding live-force too."
Archaon (1349's guitarist)
"Lots of vocal variety in the song (Fathoms) in addition to the dynamism of the music itself. Watch for this album"
