RIVAL SONS ANNOUNCED FOR UK'S ISLE OF WIGHT AND DOWNLOAD FESTIVALS
Long Beach, California's RIVAL SONS have been announced for this year's Isle of Wight and Download festivals in the UK.
The band will be celebrating the release of their forthcoming new album, GREAT WESTERN VALKYRIE, on June 9th with a string of sold out UK headlining shows, prior to performing at Download on the Zippo Encore stage on Friday, June 13th. The band will then be playing on the main stage at the Isle of Wight festival on Saturday, June 14th.
RIVAL SONS guitarist SCOTT HOLIDAY comments:
"Last but not least! We may be a late announcement for these UK festivals, but we are very excited to say we're playing Isle of Wight, and thankful to return to Download for the third year. Download is always a blast, and to be invited out to Isle of Wight for the first time, and on the main stage (headlined by the Chili Peppers!), no less… Quite an honor! Great festivals, great bands. I should mention, I heard all our UK album release shows sold out - thank you for your support! Here we come UK brothers and sisters! Needless to say, we absolutely intend to burn all these UK shows straight to the ground."
