MOTHER`S FINEST veröffentlichen neue Single an Nikolaus!
Neue Single "Shut Up" erscheint digital am 06. Dezember 2014
Die amerikanische Funk-Rock-Sensation Mother’s Finest veröffentlicht nach 11 Jahren mit "Shut Up" ihren ersten neuen Song. Als Digital-release wird dieser am 06. Dezember 2014 erscheinen und ist ein Dank von der Band an alle Fans in Deutschland.
"Shut Up" wird auch auf dem anstehenden neuen Studioalbum Goody 2 Shoes & The Filthy Beast , welches im Frühjahr 2015 erscheint, enthalten sein und zeigt, dass die Band nichts verlernt hat.
Die Band sagt: "The song is about people who don't know when to shut up! A person who loves to hear themselves talk or someone who just talks their way into more trouble or a lover you wanna kiss and make love to but they can't shut up long enough for you to do that. After all you learn more by being quite and listening. The song was inspired by Joyce's riff and Dion filled in the rest of the groove with a good collaboration on the lyrics. A great rocker!"
Goody 2 Shoes & The Filthy Beast ist die erste Studioscheibe der Band seit ihrer 2003er Veröffentlichung Meta-Funk’n-Physical. Zum aktuellen Line-Up gehören mit Sängerin Joyce Kennedy, Sänger Glenn Murdock, Bassist Wyzard und Gitarrist Moses Mo vier Originalmitglieder der Erstbesetzung von 1970. Mit Gitarrist John Hayes und Schlagzeuger Dion Murdock hat die Gruppe seit ihrem Comeback im Jahr 1989 die perfekte Verstärkung gefunden.
