Thrash Metallers ANGELUS APATRIDA continue to promote their much acclaimed new and 5th album, “Hidden Evolution”, which entered the national sales charts in the band’s home of Spain on an amazing # 2 (!) spot and continues to do well in the charts on its 4th week of release on # 80, after being on # 11 on its second week and # 35 in the third week.
To showcase the band’s relentless energy on stage, ANGELUS APATRIDA are now launching a promotional video-clip for the new album’s track “Serpents On Parade”, edited by Nacho Montero and produced by Holy Cuervo, featuring footage from the record release shows for “Hidden Evolution” in Spain last month. The artwork for “Hidden Evolution” was handled by Gyula Havancsák / Hjules.com, who has also decorated album sleeves for bands such as Annihilator, Destruction, Stratovarius, Grave Digger or also Nightingale. The album was once again recorded in Moita, Portugal at Ultrasound Studio with producer Daniel Cardoso (Anneke Van Giersbergen, Anathema, etc.) and features a lead-guitar guest-appearance by Chris Amott (Armageddon, ex Arch Enemy) on the song “Speed Of Light”. The release is available as special edition CD with an O-card packaging in its initial pressing, featuring a cover version of Deep Purple’s “Highway Star” as bonus. The album’s 180gr. vinyl LP version will come with the entire album on CD as bonus and is either available on black wax, or as limited coloured editions in white (100x copies, via CM Distro USA) and light blue (200x copies, via CM Distro Europe).
