Italian Post Sludgers VAREGO release this week their new single “Phantasma”, featuring the new song “Phantasma”, mixed and mastered by Billy Anderson, and “Secrets Untold – Second Birth”, revised by Drone Doom outfit SHABDA, a “cosmic” re-birth of the song previously featured on the EP “Blindness of the Sun”.

VAREGO OVERVIEW:
Vàrego is an Italian entity formed by five musicians, veterans of the underground music circuit. Born in 2009 with a sound briefly compared to various post-metal genres, the band worked with producer Billy Anderson (Neurosis, Melvins, High on Fire, among others) for the debut album "Tvmvltvm" out in July 2012 which received many positive feedback across the board.
In the following year, 2013, the band release a new EP entitled “Blindness of the Sun”, also featuring JARBOE (SWANS) on vocals and Giovanni Sansone (CASINO ROYALE, LA CRUS) on trumpets. In November 2015 the band is back with the new opus “Phantasma”, a two tracks single in anticipation of the forthcoming full-length the band is actually working on.
