THRAENENKIND new album details
We are very happy to finally announce the new THRÃNENKIND album! The new effort will be entitled "King Apathy" and will be available May 13th as CD Digipak, Ltd edition gatefold LP and Download.

Whoever is looking for a brief description of what THRÃNENKIND are doing, can read on facebook: “Vegan Straight Edge Post Metalâ€. In other words: the band is raising a claim with awareness, respect, and a diversity of sounds and words. All of this is the expression of the differentiated approach of the group from the South of Germany. On the band’s second album for LIFEFORCE RECORDS – “King Apathy†– you can hear and feel what this means. The range of influences is wide – so are the feelings that have been transferred into fiery, impressive music. The meaning of the band name is something like “child of tearsâ€. Due to the nature of music with its remarkable emotionality, listeners will be moved, too.
Following the path of “The Elk†(2013), THRÃNENKIND move freely in between crustcore, post rock, post black metal, and hardcore punk without putting obvious priorities or rather core areas. The focus – still – lies on creating atmosphere and melancholy as well as lasting impressions. Therefore it is important that listeners encounter “King Apathy†with an open mind, and they indulge in the moment. Those, who do so, will not be disappointed.
THRÃNENKIND was founded in 2007. All members share interests in the ideas of green anarchism, civilization critical thoughts and left-wing politics. The lyrics focus on issues like interpersonal relations, human society, anarchism or the relationship between humanity and nature.
