HANGING GARDEN release new video for 'Hereafter'
Here is the new Hanging Garden video for 'Hereafter', directed by the highly talented Julia Alakulju. 'Hereafter' is the title track from the band's on October 7th released EP.

Director Julia Alakulju about the video:
"I wanted to create a story with classical elements and photography, about facing the moment of letting go of the past. We have an ability to change things now but to have an effect on the past, we have to free ourselves. The inspiration to make a short film came as I saw an old shed. Old objects hold the energy of past times and the people who owned them. Also, we can not avoid creating associations when we see objects presented. Psychology, dreamy visions and drifting in time in this very simple set up was inspiring. Scenes could turn into paintings, objects could turn into living beings."
Past & present & future: this triad is omnipresent on HANGING GARDEN's new EP "Hereafter". The fourth album of the Finns - "Blackout/Whiteout“ was released a year ago. Since then, the band engaged in reflecting its own musical progression in order to find new approaches for further development. In doing so, HANGING GARDEN are well-supported by prominent vocalists such as Mikko Kotamöki (Swallow the Sun), Alexander Häbom (October Tide, Centinex, Volturyon), and Victor Wegeborn (The Moth Gatherer).
With changing the context and adding guest singers, the atmospheric sound of the Finns further gains in importance and emotional impression. Dark and light moments it is both in there. "Hereafter" runs through HANGING GARDEN's career, but also gives an idea of what the future of this open-minded and adventurous band will sound like.
