"Can´t Avoid Success" ist natürlich ein ziemlich couragierter Titel für das Album eines Newcomers.
Aber wer hat, der hat!
NIGHTMEN (die übrigens nicht nur aus "men" bestehen) fusionieren auf ihrem zweiten Longplayer Garage-Rock und zuckersüßen Power-Pop und gehören zu den tollsten neuen Bands aus Schweden.
Ihre Pop-Sensibilität kommt auf "Can´t Avoid Success" sogar noch besser zur Geltung.
Wie schrieb das schwedische "Hymn"-Magazin so schön:
”You can’t be tough in all situations, the softer side of things needs to come forward as well. In the case of Nightmen the punk rock converge with the hook-laden power pop. You just can’t live without melodies”
