About The Silent Rage
The Silent Rage is a modern power metal band hailing from Athens, Greece, being formed by Nikos Siglidis on February 2006.
The band has released on the past two self financed EP's, "The Silent Rage" on September 2009 (with two individual tracks being featured in compilations being released by Rock Hard Greece magazine and Hellenic Forces fanzine) & "Harvester Of Souls" on April 2011.
On July 2016, "The Deadliest Scourge" album has been released through Greek label Alone Records. It has been recorded at the famous Devasoundz Studios (SepticFlesh, Chaostar, Rotting Christ) in Athens, Greece under the guidance of Fotis Benardo (SiXforNinE, ex-SepticFlesh) & Thanos Jan (Inactive Messiah) in order to record, mix & master the album.
Apollo Papathanasio (Spiritual Beggars, ex.-Firewind), Yossi Sassi (Solo, ex.-Orphaned Land), Vladimir Reshetnikov (Arkona) & Theophilos Kritikos (Feel) are some special guests that participate on the album. The cover artwork made by Michal Karcz of Parallel Worlds (Metal Church, VNV Nation), the booklet designed by Piotr Szafraniec of Archart Design (Fullforce, Wardrum, Doomcracy) and the logo and the symbol of the band has been made by the famous artist Rainer Kalwitz (Shadow Gallery, Dare, Tad Morose).
The album received exceptional reviews from media all over the world, while getting the 12th place among the best albums of 2016 by the Canadian magazine The Headbanging Moose.
The band currently is working on the follow up album to "The Deadliest Scourge", being expected by the fall of 2019.
Through the years the band had the privilege to share the stage with Shadow Gallery, Rage, Grave Digger, Stratovarius, Rotting Christ, Temperance among others.
