Aus Norwegen kommen COURSE OF FATE und stehen in der Tradition ganz großer Progressive Rock- und Metal-Helden. Der Band gelingt das Husarenstück, gleichermaßen Fans von Opeth, Queensrÿche, Fates Warning und Pink Floyd zu begeistern. Das klingt selbstbewusst – und ist es auch. Zu Recht! "Mindweaver" ist ein 45-minütiges Konzeptwerk, das von Großtaten wie "Scenes From A Memory", "Operation: Mindcrime" und "The Wall" beeinflusst ist, aber umgehend durch eine eigene Note beeindruckt. COURSE OF FATE faszinieren durch eine immense künstlerische Vision, manifestiert durch handwerkliche Finesse und wunderschöne Hooks.
