PRIDE & JOY MUSIC is pleased to announce the signing of new German Hard Rock project BARNABAS SKY!
The new all-star hard & heavy project BARNABAS SKY comes from the mind of guitarist, composer and multi-instrumentalist Markus Pfeffer (LAZARUS DREAM/ WINTERLAND/ SCARLETT) from Kaiserslautern/Germany.
The debut album full of edgy-groovy rocking guitar riffs and countless catchy hooklines bears the title "Inspirations" not by chance. Pfeffer was able to hire singers for the album from internationally known bands that had significantly influenced him during his musical beginnings: Danny Vaughn (TYKETTO), Zak Stevens (SAVATAGE), Rob Rock (IMPELLITTERI/AXEL RUDI PELL), Steve Grimmett (GRIM REAPER/ONSLAUGHT), Jesse Damon (SILENT RAGE) and Danny Martinez Jr. (GUILD OF AGES) take over lead vocals on the album.
Musical guests included keyboardist Thomas Nitschke and pianist Michael Weickenmeyer, as well as percussionist Thomas Rieder. The artwork of the album was designed by the well-known French artist Stan W. Decker (RAGE, BLUE ÖYSTER CULT, MASTERPLAN) and the mastering was done at Markus Teske's Bazement Studios (VANDEN PLAS, SAGA) in Taunus, Germany.
The names of the contributors speak for themselves - there can hardly be more arguments to lend this album an attentive ear.

HARTMANN announces 15th Anniversary acoustic tour!
Oliver Hartmann, well known as singer and guitarist is considered with his band HARTMANN since their debut ’Out in the cold’ (2005) as one of the best modern German Rock-/Hardrock acts. He’s also known as part of metal-megaseller AVANTASIA, projects as ROCK MEETS CLASSIC, ex-AT VANCE singer and as front man of the German Pink Floyd tribute ECHOES.
In April 2020 the band released their jubilee album ’15 Pearls And Gems’ which received great critics worldwide, again co-produced by Sascha Paeth (Avantasia, Beyond The Black, Kamelot).
The album is including new songs, live versions of the past 15 years and well chosen cover tracks as the special duet ’When the rain begins to fall’ ( https://youtu.be/C4XhUVoY8os ) feat. Ina Morgan, member of Avantasia and one of Germany’s greatest female rock vocalists.
After touring through Europe with the predecessor ’Hands on the wheel’ in 2018/2019 followed by Avantasia’s worldwide ’Moonglow-Tour’ Oliver Hartmann will now catch up his special acoustic tour from summer on, accompanied by Ina Morgan on vocals, Markus Kullmann (ex-Glenn Hughes, Voodoo Circle) on drums & percussions and Armin Donderer on bass. The fans of Hartmann can look forward to concerts in a very intimate atmosphere, to songs of the actual album ’15 Pearls And Gems’ and of course to great tracks & stories of more than 15 years band history!
