CROSSBONE SKULLY - neue Single + Video "I`M UNBREAKABLE"
CROSSBONE SKULLY ist das neue Projekt von Tommy Henriksen (Gitarrist und musikalischer Leiter von Alice Coopers Band und Mitglied bei Hollywood Vampires).
Nach der Veröffentlichung der explosiven Single "The Boom Went The Boom (feat. Phil Collen von Def Leppard)” folgt heute die Auskopplung ihres dritten Tracks "I'm Unbreakable". Der Song wurde von Henriksen zusammen mit Glen Sobel (Alice Cooper, Hollywood Vampires) am Schlagzeug, Jamie Muhoberac (My Chemical Romance, John Mayer, Seal) am Keyboard, Jason Roller (Banjo) und The Hellhounds als Backgroundsänger aufgenommen. Produziert wurde der Song vom legendären Mutt Lange (AC/DC, Def Leppard), der für Tommy’s neues Projekt aus dem Ruhestand zurückgekehrt ist.
Im Musikvideo zum Song, das gestern auf YouTube Premiere feierte ist Crossbone Skully’s Live-Band zu sehen, bestehen aus Henriksen, Chris Wyse, sowie den aufstrebenden Musikern Sam "Bam" Koltun(Dorothy, Faster Pussycat, Budderside) und Anna Cara an der Gitarre, die Henriksen entdeckte, als er ihre viralen YouTube-Gitarren-Cover-Videos gesehen hatte, und Tuesdai am Schlagzeug.
“The entire Crossbone Skully universe is built around the age-old concept of good vs evil, right vs wrong and, as a result, that concept is central to the songs of the album,” kommentiert HENRIKSEN. “With ‘I'm Unbreakable,’ we wrote it while thinking about having confidence to know that you can win. We're all warriors just dealing with the bullshit of everyday life that we all gotta deal with. I'm telling everyone to be strong and to believe in yourself because you are a warrior, you've made it this far so you must be unbreakable, remember that.”
CROSSBONE SKULLY werden eine Reihe von 7"-Vinyl-Singles in limitierter Auflage veröffentlichen. Die Reihe wurde mit der Veröffentlichung von "The Boom Went The Boom (feat. Phil Collen of Def Leppard)"im Oktober angekündigt. Die 7"-Vinyl-Single ist, mit "I'm Unbreakable" als B-Seite, ab sofort auch in ihrem Merch-Store auf CrossboneSkully.com erhältlich. Die 7" wird außerdem ein limitiertes signiertes Exemplar von CROSSBONE SKULLYs "Thing #1" Ashcan Comic beinhalten. Der Erlös aus dem Verkauf der limitierten 7"-Vinyl wird an die Wohltätigkeitsorganisation MusiCares gespendet.
