Crypta is a Brazilian death metal band, founded in 2019, by Luana Dametto and Fernanda Lira, and officially announced in May 2020. On guitars, Tainá Bergamaschi and Jéssica di Falchi complete the current line-up.
The four-piece is signed to Austrian label Napalm Records, through which their debut album “Echoes of the Soul” was released, in June 2021.
The album was recorded in Brazil at Family Mob studio, engineered by Otávio Rissato, produced by Thiago Vakka, mixed by Arthur Rizk and mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studio. The cover art was painted by Wes Benscoter.
The full-length was also licensed and released on the same date in Brazil and Argentina by Dynamo Records, in Russia by Soyuz Music, in Japan by Ward Records and later in Mexico by Concreto Recs.
The 3 main singles off it were “From the Ashes”, “Starvation” and “Dark Night of the Soul”, which videos can be found on their label's official YouTube channel.
The promotional tour of their first album went through Latin America and Europe, featuring some important dates alongside some of the biggest names in metal and the participation in some of the main festivals around the world, such as Wacken Open Air, Rock in Rio, Primavera Sounds and Rock al Parque. In addition to that, the band is already planning to announce in the coming months the continuation of the tour in territories not yet visited by them.
Crypta just release their second album called “Shades of Sorrow”, and are currently promoting it around the world.
The rebellion of the youth is here to rip of your head! No one gets out alive, when NAKKEKNAEKKER delivers their take on modern death metal with Scandinavian and American roots. The crusade to take the world starts now!
NAKKEKNAEKKER is five young guys from Denmark, who decided to devote their lives to playing death metal. Their love for the genre shines through everything they do. Although their age only spans between 16 and 20 years of age, this is in no way a setback for them. On the contrary. Their playing technique, experience on stage and songwriting will leave you with your mouth open, wondering how such young boys can sound like a band that has been on the road for 10 years. On the other hand, these guys can tour the world for the next 10 years and not be 30 yet!
The music has its roots in old-school death metal like Entombed and Morbid Angel, but the band is not afraid to incorporate modern elements as well. The raucous guitars, aggressive and a thunderous bass lay the soundtrack for the band's morbid lyrics.
After the initial preparations, NAKKEKNAEKKER started out in January 2022. Before the year is over, they will have played 20+ shows, played at SPOT Metal - and been on tour with BAEST around the whole country, as the main support act. A tour which takes them around all the biggest venues in Denmark.
They also started a collaboration with Heartbeat Management, which is a big step towards the dream of reaching foreign ears.
Plaguemace is a riff-filled, neck bending and windmilling band from the heart of Denmark. The quintet plays thrashy Death’n’Roll, and one might think of bands such as Grave, High on Fire, Entombed or Obituary, spiced up with bombastic melodies, brutal breakdowns and infectious grooves. Their ferocious energy and dirty riffs are unleashed on stage in a vicious vortex of guitar shreds, headbanging and pure lunacy.
In the summer of 2019 in a dusty old cellar in the city of Horsens, Denmark, brothers, Andreas and Simon Truelsen, wrote first few riffs, that would later evolve into the death metal band by the name of ‘Plaguemace’. As Simon traveled for 6 months, Andreas gathered the rest of the quintet and in November 2020 they released their EP ‘Primal Priest’. 6 old school sounding death metal songs, delivered with a rock ‘n’ roll attitude and roaring buzzsaw sound.
As Covid loosened its putrid grip on the world the band started playing live and within the first year they played 7 headline gigs, support gigs for bands such as Baest, Katla and Crocell, played festivals such as Metal Magic and Tornvang Open Air, counting 25 concerts in total.
