RED ROT has decided to work with us on their 2nd album “Borders of Mania”. A very intense, innovative experimental Death Metal album that goes for the throat.
Their debut album “Mal de Vivre” (on Svart Records) gained a lot of attention and “Borders of Mania” surpasses this album in every aspect. RED ROT has members that were/are in Ephel Duath, Botanist and Dawn of Ouroboros. The artwork is done by Niklas Sundin (Dark Tranquility, In Flames, Evergrey) and will be available as a digipack-CD and vinyl edition.
Great news for connaisseurs of Epic Pagan Metal! There is a new SIG:AR:TYR album called “Citadel of Stars” coming your way. Mastermind Daemonskald has completely outdone himself and we have decided to continue our co-operation. After 2016’s “Northen” it became silent, but now SIG:AR:TYR will follow up their mighty legacy. If you have not heard the previous four albums (Nigel is active since 2003) you should think of Bathory, Primordial, Emperor and Agalloch. “Citadel of Stars” will be released on 2-LP (with the 2003 demo “The Stranger” as bonus) and on CD.
Re-issue alarm once again: Chicago’s OPPRESSOR is active again (Maryland Deathfest 24th of May) and we will re-issue “Solstice of Oppression” completely remastered and reworked on vinyl and as a deluxe-2-CD (with the demos on disc #2). This album is considered to be one of the best kept secrets of US Death Metal of the 90’s. No Death Metal collection is complete without this brutal masterpiece!
JUNE:
The wait is finally over, after 6 long years Hungary’s Atmospheric Black Metal band #1 returns. SEAR BLISS will release “Heavenly Down” and it has been worth the wait. The trombone is strong on this one. The cover artwork is created by Kris Verwimp and we will share more details soon. Expect a release on CD and LP.
AMEN CORNER started in 1992 in Brasil and is part of the bunch of so-called “Cogumelo legends”. Both their 90’s album received Underground praise and the band remained active through all the years. Their new album “Written By The Devil” is the perfect food for all fans of bands such as Malokarpatan, Varathron, Mortuary Drape, Samael and Rotting Christ. Great old school Black Metal, with a strong focus on darkness, mysticism and atmosphere, instead of playing as fast as possible. Great songs, with hooks, killer production and a fitting artwork: it is almost 1993 again!
The second re-issue of Chicago’s OPPRESSOR will be “Agony” completely remastered and reworked on vinyl and as a deluxe-2-CD (with the live recordings, covers and demo-songs on disc #2). This album from 1996 sees the band incorporate more technical aspects into their US Death Metal. No Death Metal collection is complete without this masterpiece!
JULY:
The spiritual guidance of Tom Warrior is strong on “Beyond the Veil”, the third full-length album by Spain’s bastard sons of Triptykon TOTENGOTT. But they are so much more than an excellent copycat, they explore the blueprint laid out by their inspirator, add details unheard and create a haunting masterpiece! And let’s be honest, there can never be enough Celtic Frost in this World, but there are not many bands who walk that path. TOTENGOTT truly go “Beyond the Veil”.
Ever imagined Mr.Vintersorg of Vintersorg going completely on a Scandinavian folk trip? We got it right here; DIMBILD is just that. Vintersorg gone acoustic, with the same great melodies and vocals (no grim vocals obviously). The album is called “Dunkelglöd” and will appeal to anyone who likes Vintersorg’s calmer moments and Swedish/Scandinavian folk music. It is beautiful.

AUGUST:
There will be no new albums in this Summer month. We will nevertheless continue with some cool re-issues.
Our co-operation with TEMPLE OF VOID results in the re-issuing of “Of Terror and the Supernatural” and “Lords of Death” on Digipack-CD and in mid-price. Two very fine albums from 2014 and 2017 that were never released in Europe and will now be widely available for a cool(er) price.
The second album by RUNNING WILD named “Branded and Exiled” is up for the 500 limited edition picture-LP edition, with poster, a high quality release once more. These previous two are going quick.
We were also lucky to come to an agreement with Italy’s most infamous band BULLDOZER and this month will do a re-issue on CD and LP of the absolute Cult classic “IX”. The album is from 1987 and it a very dirty variant of Thrash Metal that will make fans of Venom, Sodom, Aura Noir and Sarcofago alike drool over their record/CD player.
SEPTEMBER:
Summer is over…ready? GO!
First up is CASTLE from the U.S./Canada, with a brand-new killer album entitled “Evil Remains” coming on CD and LP, immediately followed by a full European tour in September. It will be the band’s 6th full-length studio album after a hiatus of 6 years. It seems they saved up all their great songs during these long years and put them into one killer album. CASTLE performs Heavy / Doom / Sludge Metal with lyrics on occultism (bands you might use a reference could be Lucifer, High on Fire, Blood Ceremony). Flawless performance, killer songs, horror vibes and top notch production awaits.
We’ve got some Death Metal for you as well. Australian legends ABRAMELIN will return with 4th full-length studio album “Sins of the Father” and it is an absolute thrilling album. Modern, but Old School enough at the same time, technical challenging, but still with a focus on great, memorable songs. And then the artwork…just await and see. We will do a limited edition LP (with that artwork…), LP and CD. The roots of ABRAMELIN reach back to 1988 (as ACHERON) and they will be a contender for Death Metal album of the year for sure.
