Zungsang LP is a rework of the limited edition C-30 cassette which was released in 2021 by french label Vice de Forme. The remastered LP comes in red vinyl with 4 extra tracks and a brand new artwork by Pole Ka. Graphic design by Lasse Marhaug. Mastering by Beat Keller. Front cover photo by Martin Baumgartner. Additional voices, bass and percussion by Dominik Gysin, Philippe Nauer, Meret Matter, Brigitte Wilfing, Christian Weber, Alexandre Babel.
The album is dedicated to Adolf Wölfli (1864-1930), the Swiss art brut artist who spent the last 35 years of his life in a psychiatric hospital in Bern Switzerland. Zungsang is a hallucinating journey through a dark and surreal universe. Joke Lanz’ compositions offer a sharp observation of idiosyncrasies and situations in our society.
