After years of anticipation, Norway’s explosive punk rock powerhouse LÜT returns – louder, rawer, and more electrifying than ever before. With a brand-new self-titled album and a massive European tour on the horizon, the band is set to light up stages and hearts across the continent in 2025.
Following the success of their critically acclaimed second album Mersmak and a period of personal and artistic transformation, LÜT are charging into a bold new era. Their third album, simply titled LÜT, drops in September 2025, and it's their most powerful work to date: a fierce, fearless blend of razor-sharp riffs, massive sing-along hooks, and their unmistakable northern fire. Imagine the rush of your favorite Punk Rock anthem served with the thrill of a long-overdue menu update at your favorite late-night dive – that’s the LÜT experience.
The album also features a special guest appearance by none other than Bela B of DIE ÄRZTE, who joined forces with the band on the track Glücksschmied, following their shared shows in 2022. A taste of what’s to come – something different, something bigger.
To celebrate, LÜT are hitting the road with their Europe Tour 2025, bringing their sweat-soaked, high-octane live show to venues across Norway, Germany, and the rest of Europe. Expect walls of guitars, blistering energy, and mosh pits that don’t stop. LÜT live is a force of nature – a band playing like the world is watching and they've got everything to prove.
Since forming in 2014, LÜT has carved out a unique space in the Nordic music scene, drawing fans from the punk, rock, and pop worlds alike. Their debut earned them nominations for the Norwegian Grammys and the “New Band of the Year” award from P3 Gull. Even Metallica’s Lars Ulrich took notice, praising their explosive live energy on his podcast It’s Electric.
