Metalapolis Records News: CRIME, DARKNESS ABLAZE
We are very proud to present two new releases today Friday July 4th.
First is the first single and title track taken from the upcoming CRIME album COLD AIR. Second is the first ever digital release of the self-titled DARKNESS ABLAZE debut album.
After making us wait 27 years for their last album MASTER OF ILLUSION many thought that CRIME were just a flash in the pan. However, in 2025, just three years later, the band have proved us wrong with their new album COLD AIR. The first video single is the title track and gives a good impression what to expect from the upcoming 14-track album which will see the light of day Friday September 26th. The new album aims to put the band back in the fast lane and catapult them into the limelight. Whether hard or soft, CRIME still master the art of creating captivating and catchy songs. Riffs and beats characterize the groove and make room for melodic hooks and gripping vocals. With the title track COLD AIR, the band delivers an unmistakable rock and metal anthem!
The self-titled DARKNESS ABLAZE album was originally released in 2007 by the band and once again with an added intro in 2008 by Black Bards records. But only on CD. The now via DARKSTORM RECORDS digitally released album is the 2008 version. The blazing debut from the German Melodic Death Metal band is fusing Swedish-inspired riffs with soaring Power Metal melodies and pagan atmospheres. Now, this underground gem returns in digital form, ready to ignite a new generation of headbangers with its ferocious intensity and haunting beauty!
