Today marks a monumental moment for Australian melodic metal act DARKER HALF, with the simultaneous release of their highly anticipated new album, “Book Of Fate,” via Massacre Records and the launch of their 2025 European Tour.
Arriving today, “Book Of Fate” delivers a powerful sonic fusion of heavy, melodic intensity — an album steeped in evocative folklore, drawing loosely from tales such as The Pied Piper of Hamelin and the Wizard. The result is an epic, narrative-rich project enhanced by the band's trademark anthemic choruses and renewed energy from their revamped lineup.
Produced by drummer Dom Simpson at Elephant Sounds Studio in Australia, mixed by Chris Themelco at Monolith Studios, and mastered by Thomas Plec Johansson at The Panic Room, the album is further elevated by dramatic artwork from Karim Konig.

Coinciding with the album release, DARKER HALF embark on their European tour today, starting at Metalacker Tennenbronn 2025 in Schramberg, Germany. The tour continues with festival stops such as Nordrock Schwaben 2025 in Rheinfelden on 30 August, followed by multiple dates across Netherlands, Poland, and Germany through late September, including shows as Glenn Hughes’ main support.
