OUR OCEANS - neue Single "LEAVE ME BE"

Heute veröffentlicht das Power-Trio um Sänger und Gitarrist Tymon Kruidenier und seine ehemaligen Exivious-Bandkollegen - Bassist Robin Zielhorst und Schlagzeuger Yuma van Eekelen, mit "Leave Me Be" eine kraftvolle neue Single. Der Song ist die dritte Auskopplung aus dem neuen Studioalbum "Right Here, Right Now", das am 24. Oktober 2025 über Long Branch Records erscheint.

"One of my favorite songs on the album," erzählt Bandleader Tymon Kruidenier. "It’s built on a bass line Robin originally wrote for Motherly Flame on our last record but never ended up using for that song. Conceptually, this is one of the darkest songs on the album, rooted in childhood trauma—something that’s clearly reflected in both the lyrics and the unsettling vibe of the music. I also think it’s one of our more original compositions. From the ominous, hypnotic bass groove to the Middle Eastern-inspired motifs, and finally, the dual drum/guitar solo, it’s a song that still gives me goosebumps every time I hear it."

Auf dem neuen Album enthüllen Our Oceans eine klare, aufregende Klanglandschaft, während sie die beschwörende emotionale Tiefe beibehalten, die zu ihrem Markenzeichen geworden ist. Inspiriert von der 'strahlenden Schönheit des Jetzt', hat die Band eine vielschichtige musikalische Reise voller üppiger Harmonien und erhebender Atmosphären geschaffen. "Right Here, Right Now" fängt die Lebendigkeit des gegenwärtigen Moments ein und verbindet komplexes musikalisches Können mit einem ansteckenden Sinn für Optimismus.
"I’m incredibly proud of that album, but it’s a bit of a bitter pill to swallow," erzählt Sänger und Gitarrist Tymon Kruidenier. "This time around, I also felt the need to return to the creative philosophy behind the first Our Oceans album: simply letting things flow. Instead of steering the process or clinging to preconceived ideas of what the music should be, I wanted to trust in an open and unrestricted creative approach, allowing the songs to take shape naturally. It all started with the chorus for what became the album’s first track, Golden Rain. From there, everything came together in what felt like one effortless flow state that lasted for a month or two. I think this resulted in a collection of songs that feel balanced and cohesive, yet diverse and playful."
