ARGUS MEGERE - neues Album "Cerburea apusului" veröffentlicht
Romanian Atmospheric Black Metal entity ARGUS MEGERE return with their first new album in six years.
Titled "Cerburea apusului", the band's fifth full-length record is out now through Loud Rage Music.
The album was recorded primarily at Consonance Studio by Andrei Jumuga and Sol Faur (Dordeduh), with guitar sessions completed at Ras Alhage Studio by Fulmineos. Mixing and mastering duties were handled at Consonance Studio by Andrei Jumuga. Artwork and design by Alexandru Daș.

The band comments:
"Today is the big day: we release "Cerburea Apusului" into the unknown. Over the past years, this moment felt like a Fata Morgana, layered with growing uncertainty. Yet here we are, and "Soma" reflects this state of mind perfectly.
The song tells of ancient hunters depicted on cave walls in a remote area of the Apuseni Mountains, exploring the connection between the human condition and the deities of the wild, and ultimately the idea of achieving immortality through art. From its midpoint to the end, "Soma" becomes fully instrumental, shaped as a meditation on meaning, on the question of purpose, and on the long and unlikely journey of Argus Megere, nearly thirty years of existence and an improbable destiny. In a way, it feels like a farewell, a thought about stepping back into the shadows, at least regarding the release of any new album in the near future.
But not all is lost. We still have plans for a celebration next year; it all depends on our motivation and the means to make it happen. And then... perhaps we blow out the candles and eventually rise from the darkness again. Who knows?
