GAEREA release new single and music video “Nomad”, taken from new album “Loss”!
New album "Loss" out on March 20th, 2026, via Century Media Records / Sony Music.
After exploring water, fire and darkness GAEREA are chasing the light in a freezing world with “Nomad”.
“The Nomad is the individual who goes through life at a constant moving pace just to avoid facing oneself—physically drifting, but emotionally running from guilt, self-doubt, and a fear of becoming something to despise. At its core, it’s a confession of alienation: a nomad not by choice, but by self-punishment and inner collapse”, says the band about “Nomad”, their new song and video. Like the previous videos from their upcoming album, “Loss”, “Nomad” was directed by Tre Film. ´

“Loss” is the sound of GAEREA continuing to define and redefine itself, incorporating elements of the band’s post-black metal past with the sharpened sonics and haunting melodies. It finds GAEREA emerging from creative chrysalis and bursting into something as engaging as it is unexpected: There’s singing. There are choruses as catchy and passionate as the best rock and metal songs. Yet, through the emotionally charged din, it’s unmistakably GAEREA.
