Arising Empire proudly welcomes one of Germany’s most exciting new acts to the roster: PLUME.
The band marks the beginning of this new chapter with the release of their striking new single 'Digital Waterboarding' — a bold statement that immediately places them at the forefront of a new wave of alternative music.
PLUME are what happens when pop stops being afraid of dirt, when glitter doesn’t have to be soft anymore and nostalgia grows a futuristic backbone. Their sound exists in constant transformation: distorted textures collide with shimmering synths, fractured rhythms and an uncompromising urge to surprise. At the core lies pop — but never predictable. Electronic, yet raw in expression. Catchy, yet never comfortable.
Fronted by vocalist Pascal Pashaee, alongside guitarist David Riederer, keyboardist Luka Lorch, and drummer Richard Kilian, the German quartet arrives with a vision that feels both chaotic and meticulously crafted. Their single 'Digital Waterboarding' is a sonically and visually overwhelming experience that captures the unsettling reality of modern digital life.
Recorded, mixed and mastered by Manuel Renner at überlärm Studios — known for his work with artists such as Electric Callboy, Avralize and Our Promise — the track pushes the boundaries of modern heavy music. PLUME fearlessly weave infectious pop sensibilities into an avant-garde landscape of aggression and electronic experimentation.
