Elegant Weapons, die Hardrock- und Heavy-Metal-Band um Judas-Priest-Gitarrist Richie Faulkner, hat ihre neue Single "Bridges Burn" veröffentlicht. Der Song ist der erste Vorbote des kommenden zweiten Albums "Evolution", das am 24. April 2026 bei Exciter Records erscheint.
Das Album wird am 24. April 2026 digital und auf CD veröffentlicht. Eine Vinyl-Sonderedition folgt später im Jahr. Elegant Weapons besteht aus hochkarätigen Musikern: Richie Faulkner (Judas Priest), Sänger Ronnie Romero (Rainbow, MSG), Bassist Dave Rimmer (Uriah Heep) und Schlagzeuger Christopher Williams (Accept).
Mit "Evolution" entwickelt die Band ihren Sound weiter – sie vereint messerscharfe Riffs, eingängige Melodien und technische Präzision mit einer Chemie, die durch Tourneen und konstante Zusammenarbeit entstanden ist. Das Album wurde von Faulkner zusammen mit Andy Sneap (Judas Priests Tourgitarrist, der auch Priests Album „Invincible Shield" produzierte) co-produziert. Die Aufnahmen fanden in Nashville, Europa und Frankreich statt – ein wahrhaft globales Projekt, das die internationale Erfahrung der Band widerspiegelt.

Exciter Records and its publishing affiliate Reach Music, recently acquired Judas Priest’s landmark early albums Rocka Rolla and Sad Wings of Destiny, making the partnership with Richie Faulkner and Elegant Weapons a natural continuation of that legacy into a new era.

The album features standout tracks including the opener "Evil Eyes," the groove-driven anthem "Generation Me," and the lead single "Bridges Burn," alongside the instrumental "Rupture," an emotionally charged composition inspired in part by Faulkner’s life-threatening onstage medical emergency in 2021.
With Evolution, Elegant Weapons solidify their identity as a band defined not simply by pedigree, but by forward momentum.
