SKINDRED - neues Musikvideo zur Albumveröffentlichung
Freitag, 17. April 2026: Die walisischen Ragga-Metal-Legenden Skindred haben heute ihr brandneues Album You Got This veröffentlicht.
Ihr neuntes Album ist ein kompromissloses Werk ohne Ausfälle und vereint alles, was Fans an der Band lieben – knallharte Brecher, extrem eingängige Hooks, ohrwurmträchtige Soundclash-Elemente und Dancehall-Vibes, die weltweit Konzerthallen zum Beben bringen werden.

Die Produktion des Albums übernahm der Grammy-prämierte Jay Ruston. Es zeigt das Trio aus Newport – ergänzt durch Gitarrist Mikey Demus und Schlagzeuger Arya Goggin – auf einer spannenden Reise nach dem Mainstream-Durchbruch mit dem von der Kritik gefeierten Album Smile aus dem Jahr 2023. Dieses stieg direkt auf Platz 2 der offiziellen UK-Albumcharts ein, und Skindred wurden anschließend bei den MOBO Awards als „Best Alternative Music Act“ ausgezeichnet sowie bei den Heavy Music Awards als „Best UK Act“ geehrt.
Seit Langem als eine der besten Livebands der Welt gefeiert, spielten sie ihre bislang größte Headline-Show in der Wembley Arena und tourten rund um den Globus, begeisterten auf Festivals und bei Headline-Konzerten und gewannen dabei Zehntausende neue Fans. Diese neuen Anhänger werden sich gemeinsam mit Skindreds langjähriger, leidenschaftlicher Fanbase auf jede Note und jede Zeile von You Got This stürzen.
