Vocalist and founder of GHØSTKID, Sushi, shares about the new band members:
DAVID
“David and I share a long musical history. We stood on stage together in Electric Callboy for almost ten years, and I’m beyond happy that he decided to support me with GHØSTKID.
This is only the beginning of a new chapter for both of us. I can’t wait to share the stage with him again — he’s someone I’ve always considered not only a close friend, but also an important part of my life.”
IAIN
“Iain and I have known each other for many years through his former band, We Butter the Bread with Butter, and now through Caliban. He has been a close friend for a long time and even took part in the songwriting process for the self-titled album.
We have never actually played together in a band before, so this will be a new experience for both of us — and one we’re really looking forward to.”
AXEL
“Some of you probably know Axel as well from We Butter the Bread with Butter.
He’s such a funny guy and has always been nothing but a lovely person, so I can’t wait to hit the road with him. Even though all of us have known each other for many years, playing together in the same band is going to be an interesting journey for all of us.”

SIGNS OF THE SWARM ANNOUNCE FIRST PROPER UK + EU HEADLINE TOUR FOR EARLY 2027
SUPPORT FROM TEN56., OCEANS ATE ALASKA, AND FACE YOURSELF
If you were thinking to yourself that it's been a hot minute since Pittsburgh's deathcore kings SIGNS OF THE SWARM had made their annual appearance on UK + EU soil, then wonder no longer! The cataclysmic four-piece have just announced their very first proper UK + EU headlining tour for 2027. They've done some one-off shows in between festival season, they've supported the likes of Cattle Decapitation, and they've stepped up to the plate to headline the Faces Of Death UK tour after Veil Of Maya announced their untimely hiatus - now you get your very own 29 date SOTS dedicated headline tour, including 9 dates across the UK!
Vocalist David Simonich comments on his excitement for this tour:
“We’re excited to do our first proper headline tour in Europe and the UK! We knew that meant we needed a lineup worthy of it, and after a lot of back-and-forth we settled on this juggernaut. Ten56. are riding up the lineup to direct support after we also had them on our North American To Rid Myself of Truth Tour; Face Yourself also opened that and are making their European debut here. In between them is Oceans Ate Alaska for their first tour in three years. They also recently sent off what would be their first LP in four years for mixing, so perhaps we’ll all get lucky with some new fire. We hit it off with OAA at Core Fest in Germany back in 2024, and they truly bring this lineup together."

Sometime In February launch new single ‘Nightlight’
US-based rising instrumental progressive metallers, Sometime In February, are excited to release a brand new track titled ‘Nightlight’. Coming off the back of a string of Summer US live dates, the track is an exciting taste of what is to come.
Listen to the track now here: https://sometimeinfebruary.lnk.to/Nightlight-Single
Watch the official video here: https://youtu.be/A5GDW-Dx6o8
Tristan Auman comments: “’Nightlight’ was written in a headspace similar to our 2024 single “Hiding Place.” While in the trenches of writing our next record, we wanted to stretch our legs and write something free from the bounds of a bigger picture, and lean into styles that we may only dip our toes into. For this single, it was early-2010s era progressive metal/djent, something we appreciate but usually avoid when writing. In true SIF fashion, it also includes fun and upbeat highs, melodramatic lows, and singable hooks that might make you forget we’re an instrumental band.”
ABOUT:
In 2023, the band introduced themselves with their first single under InsideOut, titled ‘Hiding Place’, which showcased their melodic approach. Now, with a full album of new material, Sometime in February presents 11 captivating tracks, from the fusion-metal opener ‘Palantir’ to the progressive complexity of ‘Outside In’ to the blues-infused, prog-metal closer ‘Funeral House.’
The trio’s connections extend into the progressive music world, featuring collaborations with Between the Buried and Me members Paul Waggoner and Dan Briggs. Tristan had been working for Waggoner in a local coffee shop. After getting to know Tristan, he went to see the band and was impressed by their live performance. He later invited Auman to fill in alongside Paul on BTBAM gigs. In return, Waggoner contributed to the track ‘The Bad Fight’ and appeared in the music video. "I had a part open for him on the song," Auman recalls. "He sent over some ideas, and they were perfect, as expected."
