Bassist Matt Clarke äußert sich wie folgt zur neuen Single: "‚LIMB FROM LAMB‘ ist der Song, der sich während der Aufnahmen wohl am stärksten gewandelt hat. Bis er fertig war, war ich mir nicht einmal sicher, ob er es überhaupt auf das Album schaffen würde. Erst durch Danes Textgestaltung und seinen Gesangsvortrag kam der Song richtig zur Geltung. Er unterscheidet sich etwas vom Tempo der bisherigen Singles: Dieser Track ist (für unsere Verhältnisse) langsam, düster und schwer."
"Für das Video haben wir uns stark an der Ästhetik von Horrorfilmen orientiert. Unsere Musik und unsere visuelle Gestaltung waren schon immer vom Horror-Genre inspiriert, und hier bot sich die Gelegenheit, eine unserer Lieblingsreferenzen ganz offensichtlich einzubinden. Für uns war es schon immer sinnvoll, diese Art von Inspiration mit dem realen Horror zu verknüpfen, den wir in unseren Texten thematisieren."

Textlich wollte ich so direkt wie möglich zum Ausdruck bringen, dass es uns völlig egal ist, ob ihr uns hasst – oder das, wofür wir stehen, und die Art und Weise, wie wir dazu stehen; TTG hasst euch nämlich auch. "Bei diesem Song haben wir uns wieder stark auf dieselben Einflüsse besonnen wie schon bei unserem Album ‚Director’s Cuts‘. Er vereint all diese Elemente: treibende Riffs, schnelle Passagen und jede Menge Dynamik. Wir freuen uns darauf, den Song auf den anstehenden Tourneen zu spielen … die heute beginnen. Erst Australien, in zwei Wochen dann Nordamerika! Für das Video wollten wir etwas machen, das sich von unseren bisherigen Performance-Videos unterscheidet. "'LIBERATION FRONT' was born as a concept on tour last year in Australia after we decided we wanted to make the sequel to 'Director’s Cuts.' What came out was something between that and a more pissed off brother to 'Everyone’s A Murderer.' It’s got so many things I love about the band and a bit of everything pushed to 100 with a really bleak kind of aggression that’s just reaching for your throat the entire time. Very keen to play some of these songs live and it’s an exciting chapter to add.”

TO THE GRAVE will be kicking off "The Sawed Off Suffering Tour" with co-headlinerCrown Magnetar on September 17th in Chicago. The entire run will be supported by Face Yourself and on select dates by the likes of I Declare War, Tracheotomy, Backbiter, Squelching and Ameonna (the new band featuring former Chelsea Grinmembers Alex Koehler, Jake Harmond and Pablo Viveros, making their live debut).
