FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH - Spende zugunsten von Athleten
FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH feiern den Abschluss der USA & Kanada Etappe ihrer groß angelegten „20th Anniversary World Tour“ mit einer Spende in Höhe von 200.000 US-Dollar für die Team USA Athleten, die sich aktuell auf die Olympischen und Paralympischen Spiele 2028 in Los Angeles vorbereiten.
Während der gesamten Tournee sammelte die Band einen Teil des Verkaufserlöses jedes einzelnen Tickets für diese Initiative, um die Athleten von USA Judo sowie der BMX-Racing und BMX-Freestyle-Programme von USA Cycling zu unterstützen.
Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Ländern stellen die USA ihren olympischen und paralympischen Teams keine direkten Bundesmittel zur Verfügung, weshalb private Spenden unerlässlich sind, um amerikanische Athleten bei ihrem Training und ihren Wettkämpfen auf der Weltbühne zu unterstützen.
Am Freitag, dem 23. Oktober, feierten FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH am Abend des Tourabschlusses im Jiffy Lube Live Amphitheater in Bristow, Virginia, diese Initiative mit einer Spendenübergabe von 200.000 Dollar an USA Judo und USA Cycling.
Bandgründer und Gitarrist Zoltan Bathory erzählt: "We cheer for our athletes when they step onto the world stage representing our country, but we also want to stand behind them during the years of work it takes to get there.
I started judo at nine years old, and I still compete today. I know what it can give a person, how it shapes your mind, builds discipline, and teaches you to face adversity. Those lessons stayed with me far beyond the mat. I’ve built a life and a career on those principles. That’s why supporting USA Judo is deeply personal to me. I want more people to discover this sport, and I want the athletes who reach its highest level to have the resources to pursue their full potential.
"Our fans’ support puts us in a position to be able to give back, and we’re grateful for that opportunity. As we close out our 2026 tour cycle, this is something we can all be proud of together, and we’ll continue building on it in 2027.”

Wie immer blicken FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH selbst nach vorne: Die Band hat gerade ihr neues zehntes Studioalbum Legacy veröffentlicht - auf allen Streamingplattformen sowie in verschiedenen physischen Formaten erhältlich, darunter limitierte Vinyl-, CD- und Kassettenausgaben mit exklusivem Artwork.
Ihre neueste Single „Nails In The Coffin“ katapultierte sich kürzlich in die Top 10 der US-Rock-Radio-Charts, wo sie sich auch weiterhin behaupten kann. Das Musikvideo zum Song erschien vor Kurzem. Revolver lobte die Mischung aus hämmernden Riffs und Melodien, die von Ivan Moodys nachdenklicher Gesangsdarbietung getragen werden, während Loudwire den Track als "a furious opening statement for the new album cycle" bezeichnete. Es folgte auf das Video zum Titeltrack „Legacy“.
Seit seiner digitalen Veröffentlichung im Juli hat Legacy bereits über 60 Millionen Streams erzielt – Tendenz steigend. Bei seiner Veröffentlichung sicherte sich das Album Plätze in 18 internationalen Charts, besonders bemerkenswert dabei Platz 2 in den US-Top-Digital-Album-Charts. Auf Spotify kletterte das Album auf Platz 6 der US-Top-Album-Charts und Platz 8 weltweit.

„Eye Of The Storm”, die erste Singlauskopplung von Legacy, bescherte der Band ihren 18. ersten Platz in den Billboard Mainstream-Rock-Charts. Damit bauten sie ihren eigenen Rekord für die meisten Nummer-1-Platzierungen in Folge in der 45-jährigen Geschichte der Charts weiter aus. Der Song hielt sich drei Wochen in Folge an der Spitze.
Die nächste Station für FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH nach der USA & Kanada-Tournee wird Europa und Großbritannien sein. Anfang 2027 absolviert die Band mit Lamb of God und Bleed From Within hier eine Arena-Tour: Die zweite Etappe der „20th Anniversary World Tour“ beginnt am Samstag, dem 16. Januar, in Manchester, Großbritannien, und führt die Band durch 21 Städte auf dem gesamten Kontinent, bevor sie am 22. Februar 2027 in Helsinki endet.
