Da sind sie: das Jahr 2016, der Termin für den VVK-Start und das dazugehörige Dong-Motto! Beheimatet am Rande der Region, die wie kaum eine andere in Europa Metal lebt und zugleich Keimzelle der deutschen Metalszene war und geblieben ist, wird es höchste Zeit, dass das Dong Open Air ihr ein Jahresmotto widmet: INTO THE POTT!
Unter diesem Slogan lassen wir es vom 14. bis 16.7. bewährt krachen! Von Mount Moshmore ganz im Westen des Ruhrgebiets riskieren wir dabei einmal mehr den Blick über den Tellerrand und feiern sowohl mit etablierten Größen als auch Geheimtipps des Undergrounds.
Am Sonntag, den 17. Januar, um 12 Uhr mittags startet dafür der VVK auf dongopenair.de. Bis dahin werfen wir einen ersten Blick auf das Line-Up der 16. Ausgabe des Festivals. Werdet Freunde des Dongs auf facebook, folgt uns auf twitter und abonniert den Youtube-Kanal, denn man weiß ja nie, wo es den ersten Line-Up Hinweis zu erspähen gibt...

There they are: The year 2016, the date for the start of the ticket sale, and the motto for all of it! We are located on the very corner of a region where the heavy metal base is stronger than anywhere in Europe, it has been and continues to be the germ call for the German metal scene. Thus, we decided, it's high time to dedicate a Dong motto to this region: INTO THE POTT!
This is our slogan, and we'll celebrate it from the 14th to the 17th of July! From Mount Moshmore to the West of the Ruhr region, we're risking a look beyond our own noses and will throw a big party with well-known artists and the current insiders' tips of the underground.
On Sunday, the 17th of January, at 12 noon, the ticket sale will start on www.dongopenair.de. Up until then we'll start taking a peek at the line-up of the 16th edition of the festival. Become friends of the Dong Open Air on facebook, follow us on twitter, subscribe to our youtube channel, you never know where we'll drop the first hint about the line-up…
