Italian psychedelic rock band Black Rainbow's new six-song 38-minute mini album sees the trio leave their earlier stoner rock motifs for a sound that keeps with the HEAVY but heads to the stars. 'Holy Moon' offers a deep brew of deep heavy space rock that follows the lineage of early Hawkwind through Loop and The Heads into White Hills, 'Monsters Of The Highway' recalls Monster Magnet and Thee Hypnotics with Gabriele Fiori excelling with his powered Detroit infused leads, 'Chakra Temple' slows things down over an Eastern drone worthy of both Simon House and The Black Sun Ensemble whilst 'The Hunter' adds a heavy Groundhogs boogie edge spiced up for 2013 in a similar vein to Ty Segall and Fuzz.
Only two more weeks until the release of their Lifeforce Records debut "Monolith", French post-hardcore upcomers DOYLE AIRENCE have now released the video for their first single "Friendly Fire" off the forthcoming album. http://youtu.be/CBe5F43fji8

Northern Poland-based death metal squad, CALM HATCHERY, is preparing to enter the studio this Autumn to record their third studio full-length.
Set to invade the illustrious Hertz Studio (Behemoth, Vader, Decapitated, Lost Soul) this November, CALM HATCHERY will record the anticipated follow-up to their 2010-released sophomore album, Sacrilege Of Humanity. With nine songs, so far bearing titles including "Sun Of God," "Bomben Uber Warschau," "Bardo Of Dream State," "Blessing Mantra" and "Ilusory World Of Gods," the forthcoming as-yet-untitled full-length is slated for early 2014 release, once again through Selfmadegod Records.
Connecticut atmospheric doom metal miscreants, SEA OF BONES, are pleased to soil the masses with their latest slab of slow motion desolation in the form of The Earth Wants Us Dead.
Their first offering in six years, the crushing full-length serves as a true testament to the band's impenetrable determination. Having weathered all manners of hell both collectively and personally, from a tour-ending van crash and personnel changes to two scrapped recordings, trashed songs, and a near breakup, The Earth Wants Us Dead could have, quite easily, not been.
Los Angeles hellions, SASQUATCH, will unleash their fourth full-length of red-eyed road rock via Small Stone Records this Tuesday! Fittingly titled IV, the drum and bass tracks were recorded by Steve Lehane and Al Sutton at Rustbelt Studios in Detroit, Michigan while guitars and vocals were recorded by Benny Grotto at Mad Oak Studios in Allston, Massachusetts (who also produced and mixed the nine-track offering). IV was mastered by Chris Goosman (Acid King, Suplecs, Sons of Otis) at Baseline Audio Labs in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Milwaukee crossover marauders, ENABLER, confirm the imminent release of the Flies EP, the newest swarm of embittered and volatile metallic punk/hardcore anthems to pour forth from The Beer City outfit.
The material on Flies was thrown down over two spur-of-the-moment sessions in Minneapolis and Australia earlier this year, and following a recent mastering job by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (From Ashes Rise, Integrity, Tragedy, All Pigs Must Die), these random recordings have culminated into an upcoming joint assault between ENABLER and The Earsplit Compound.
