Hymn To Pan Out This Week Through Exile On Mainstream
Germany's punishing and psychedelic doom crew OBELYSKKH is this week victorious upon the release of their third LP, Hymn To Pan. The band's organic, sonic tsunami continually morphs into something new and more memorable with each release, and building on what they've cultivated on their heralded Mount Nysa debut and last year's follow-up White Lightnin', OBELYSKKH have truly shown what they are fully capable of on their pending third LP, Hymn To Pan.
This Autumn, Sensory Records will release the energetic and unrestrained nine-track opus entitled The Colourless Sunrise -- the maiden full-length album from Oxford, England's PROSPEKT -- now locked down for an October 22nd street date.
The recently completed The Colourless Sunrise was recorded by the band and then mixed by world renowned producer Jens Bogren (Opeth, Katatonia, Daylight Dies, Amon Amarth, Symphony X) and Adam 'Nolly' Getgood (of Periphery), and mastered by Borgen as well.

The West Coast tour collaboratively booked by crushing doom/prog sextet SECRETS OF THE SKY and expansive progressive metal quintet IN THE SILENCE will begin in just over two weeks. With the final routing now completely locked down, the nine-city trek will embark out of IN THE SILENCE's hometown of Sacramento on Friday, October 4th, followed by a week of dates across the rest of California, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico before bringing the venture to a close on SECRETS OF THE SKY'shome turf in Oakland on Saturday, October 12th. Additional tour highlights include a killer show in Los Angeles also including Author and Punisher among several others, and the addition of Armed For Apocalypse joining the closing show's lineup.
