Die Toten Hosen und das Sinfonieorchester der Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf veranstalten vom 19. bis zum 21. Oktober 2013 drei Konzerte in der Tonhalle Düsseldorf. Unter dem Titel „Willkommen in Deutschland“ wollen die Musiker an die Ausstellung „Entartete Musik“ im Düsseldorfer Ehrenhof und die Reichsmusiktage vor 75 Jahren erinnern.
Following their recent special one-off concert at the H.P. Lovecraft themed NecronomiCon gathering in Providence, Rhode Island, the mighty NEUROSIS just confirmed two new exclusive performances on both sides of the Atlantic.
First up, NEUROSIS will perform in Portland, Oregon the weekend of Thanksgiving, playing the Rosleand Theater Saturday, November 23rd. This exclusive Pacific Northwest engagement presented by Mike Thrasher will also feature an incredible support bill, including The Body and Tragedy, with a fourth act to be announced shortly.

Virginia-based psychedelic sludge sorcerers and recent Domestic Genocide signees, AKRIS, are set to unleash their self-titled full-length debut. Recorded by Chris Kozlowski (Melvins, Spirit Caravan, Pentagram, Earthride etc), at Polar Bear Lair Studios in Middleton, Maryland, Akris delivers ten noise-strewn tracks of chest-caving enormity.
Straight out of Los Angeles, California comes hot-shot shred guitarist and competitive bodybuilder Maxxxwell Carlisle.
Over the past several years, he has taken high energy virtuoso guitar pyrotechnics to a whole new level with the release of 4 punishing solo albums and countless live shows up and down the West Coast.
His street credibility has been further cemented with his time as a touring guitarist in Deathriders, the thrash band led by original Anthrax vocalist Neil Turbin.

Band To Begin Work On New Record; KickStarter Campaign Draws To A Close
Tampa death metal icons OBITUARY will bring their brutal wares to the stage this Fall on a short series of live assaults. The tour begins with a pair of back-to-back shows at Brooklyn, New York's Saint Vitus Bar on October 9 and 10, before flattening nine more venues through October 20. Having been holed-up in their own Redneck Studios the last few weeks penning the follow-up to 2009's punishing Darkest Day full-length (2009), the shows serve as a temporary writing break.
