Wie bereits in den letzten Jahren veröffentlichen darkTunes Music Group eine Label Compliation zu Halloween. Der Albumtitel wird dabei schlichtweg um die Jahreszahl geändert und lautet nun „Darkest Halloween Compilation 2021“. Auf dem Sampler sind 35 Label eigene Bands mit je einem Song vertreten. Musikalisch ist man dadurch recht breit aufgestellt. Die Bandbreite reicht von Gothic-, Dark Rock/Metal (OMNIMAR, AMORE AD LUNAM) über Industrial (MORGENSTERN, EISENWUT), Electro/Wave (DARK SIDE EONS, ASHES'N'ANDROID), Modern Rock/Metal (OCEAN DARK, DARKCELL oder DUST IN MIND) bis hin zu Post Hardcore (SICKRET).

In wie weit sich diese Ansammlung letztendlich für eine Halloween-Party eignet, muss jeder für sich selbst entscheiden. Für musikalische Abwechslung sorgt die Zusammenstellung auf jeden Fall. Und geht ein Song mal gar nicht, gibt es ja immer noch die Skip-Taste.
