In celebration of the birth of Abisso, the forthcoming new studio endeavor from Italian avant noise weavers, OvO, today the band have disclosed further album details as well as a video for the track "Tokoloshi."
Though OvO is a tricky band to pinpoint, it's easy to identify the evolution from Assassine's total improv to Cor Cordium's radical noise rock. Abisso marks a new artistic era for this eclectic twosome, formed by Stefania Pedretti and Bruno Dorella.
Today, Spin Magazine is hosting a worldwide exclusive stream of Blood!, the newly-released but long-ago-recorded LP from iconic '80s Santa Cruz surf/skate/hardcore act, BL'AST!.
Now available worldwide via Southern Lord, the Blood! masters were unearthed by the members of BL'AST! earlier this year and delivered to Southern Lord Recordings. The label immediately contacted Dave Grohl to mix the material at his 606 Studios, on the legendary Neve console as featured in the recent Grohl-produced documentary Sound City, preparing the album for release somewhere in the vicinity of two-and-a-half decades after their inception! Additionally, the recordings were from a rare lineup in the band's lineage, being the only recordings ever made while short-lived second guitarist William Duvall (Neon Christ, currently the vocalist for Alice In Chains) was a part of the BL'AST! family.

Am 04. Oktober veröffentlichen TIDES FROM NEBULA mit “Eternal Movement” ihr inzwischen drittes Studioalbum. Ab sofort gibt es den ersten neuen Song des Albums, “Only With Presence”, im Stream.
“Alles begann mit einem verspielten Gitarren-Riff. Ich präsentierte es den Jungs und wir arbeiteten etwas daran, fertig war der Song”, sagt Maciej Karbowski (Gitarre/Keys) zur Entstehung des Titels.
