Louisville’s black metal horde ANAGNORISIS is preparing for the scorching Summer unleashing of its first new full-length since 2007’s Overton Trees, as their massive sophomore LP Beyond All Light nears release. With the final strokes now placed on their newest masterwork, today the band proudly discloses the official street date for the album as well as the public’s first exposure to its’ iniquitous compositions.

USX To Tour Southeast US With Fellow Appalachian Act Generation of Vipers

Appalachian masters of dark psychedelia, USX, will take to the road this week for a run of shows through the Southeastern US states alongside local brethren Generation Of Vipers. The five-city run begins on Wednesdaay, July 17th in Asheville followed by Athens, Atlanta, Savannah and Columbia through next weekend, the two acts to share the stage with Sons of Tonatiuh, Across Tundras and more throughout the trek.

Hallo zusammen,

03.07.13. Wir müssen das Queens Of Metal Open Air absagen!
Leider bleibt uns hier keine andere Wahl, denn mit ca. 300 verkauften Karten ist der Vorverkauf noch wesentlich schlechter als im letzten Jahr und da haben wir ja schon einige zehntausend € Minus gemacht.
Wir können keine Band-Vorabzahlungen mehr leisten, dringend benötigte Dinge wie weitere Plakate, die Festivalbändchen, Bauzäune etc. kann alles nicht bestellt werden, da wir hier auch vorab zahlen müssen.

DEAD IN THE DIRT: Track From Debut LP Released Via Pitchfork Exclusive

As Atlanta’s murderous grind/powerviolence trio DEAD IN THE DIRT prepares to release their debut LP, the aptly grim title The Blind Hole, today a new track from the album has been released via an exclusive premiere at Pitchfork. While the vast majority of the band’s tracks released to date via previous EPs and on the bulk of The Blind Hole range from a blazing thirty seconds or less to just over a minute in duration, “The Pit Of Me” drags out the band’s succinctly pulverizing attack to its most epic length yet, the track clocking in with over two minutes of extreme auditory anguish.

MIKE TERRANA spielt nicht mehr bei uns !
Aufgrund von Terminschwierigkeiten wegen seiner anderen Verpflichtungen musste ich leider diese Entscheidung treffen. Er hätte für unsere Shows in 2014 nicht zur Verfügung gestanden und das würde keinen Sinn machen, trotzdem mit ihm weiterzumachen. Ich möchte mich bei Mike für die vergangenen 14,5 Jahre bedanken, in denen wir erfolgreich zusammengearbeitet haben und wünsche ihm nur das Beste für seine Zukunft. Gruß, Axel
