ANNIHILATED: Los Angeles Death Metal Squadron Enter Studio

Los Angeles death metallers, ANNIHILATED, are set to enter Trench Studios in Corona, California later this month to record the beast of brutality that will be 13 Steps To Ruination. Set for release via their new label home of Unique Leader Records, 13 Steps To Ruination will be produced by drummer Scott Fuller (Abysmal Dawn). Drums will be recorded by producer/engineer John Haddad (Abysmal Dawn, Exhumed, Intronaut).

Vox Inferni Press, in collaboration with Section XIII COMA, presents a ritual-poetic opus performed in neoclassical dark ambient style: Lamia Culta «Woman Scarred», an unique and timeless work from the cult personality of a West Ukrainian underground, from the true follower of the Satan - the woman, walking through the Path of Flames - Fosco Culto.

Formed in 2004 in Lviv, West Ukraine, as occult-black metal band with live musicians, LAMIA CULTA released their first album “Patre Satane” (More Hate Productions, Russia) which sounded like sympho-black metal with female vocals and satanic lyrics.

EYEHATEGOD: Melvins Drummer Dale Crover Volunteers To Play With EHG At The Housecore Horror Film Fest

Following the tragic death of EYEHATEGOD drummer Joey LaCaze, legendary Melvins basher, Dale Crover, recently volunteered to seize the drum stool for the band's scheduled set at the inaugural Housecore Horror Film Fest later this month.

Said the band in a collective statement: "With the recent passing of our longtime friend and drummer, Joey LaCaze, there's no way to pay him a better tribute than EYEHATEGOD performing alongside one of his main influences and favorite musicians!"

In just a few days, French noise cultivators Solar Flare Records will release a brand new 10" EP from NYC-based PIGS. Comprised of guitarist/vocalist Dave Curran (Unsane, Players Club), drummer Jim Paradise (Player's Club, Freshkills, Hellno) and bassist Andrew Schneider, renowned producer of acts including Cave In, Converge, Made Out of Babies, Unsane and Keelhaul, the PIGS trio dispatches a bruising, noxious concoction of noise, rock and sludge, seemingly collective fallout from the band's other previous/current musical endeavors.
